Discovery of White Sea assemblage fossils from Laurentia
The fossils of the soft-bodied Ediacaran organisms described in this wonderful paper are around 567 million years old. I love the thought of viewing and touching one of these fossils. The fact that we evolved from Ediacaran organisms thrills me. Maybe some of our ancestors appear in this group of fossils. Evolution is a kind of freedom.
