Not Vaccinating a Child Isn't an Act of Love

I Grew Up Unvaccinated. Now I’m an Immunologist.

If you can't read this article, it doesn't matter. Its author claims, "My mother didn't vaccinate me because she loved me." Perhaps the author needs to believe this to cover over her mother's faults, but failure to vaccinate a child is the opposite of love.

True love would involve accepting the truth about vaccinations and then making sure that the child is vaccinated. Excusing parents who fail to vaccinate their children is the same as excusing a parent who allows their child to jump off of a cliff because some imbecile told the parent that jumping off of cliffs is harmless.
